Texas Hotel Development & Construction Pipeline

The upscale and upper midscale segments anchor the Texas development pipeline, combining for 167 projects and more than 21,300 rooms. Upper upscale projects account for another 37 entries, while 12 luxury properties add over 2,000 rooms to the tracked total. Among the projects currently tracked by Lodging Development, the 1,000-room Circuit of the Americas Hotel & Convention Center stands out as the largest, with RIDA Development Corp. leading that planning-stage effort. In Arlington, the 507-room Loews Americana Hotel is in final planning under Loews Hotels, positioning itself as a major upper upscale addition to the Dallas–Fort Worth market. Already under construction, Merritt Development Group's dual-branded AC Hotel and Moxy Dallas Uptown will deliver 350 rooms, while Dimension Hospitality is planning the 301-room JW Marriott San Antonio Riverwalk at IBC Centre.
